In ten years of performing, circus artist Yoann Bourgeois has created more than twenty shows and dozens of prestigious collaborations all over the world. He is the first circus artist to be appointed as director of a National Choreographic Center. Performed to sold-out crowds on major European stages, solicited by Apple, the Fondation Hermès and the Louvre in Abu Dhabi. Initially a circus performer, later assimilated to contemporary dance, then to theater, Yoann Bourgeois is at the same time acrobat and dancer, director, choreographer and set designer.

He has given us access to his unique world: for more than a year, he has been working tirelessly to create a series of new intimate and collective shows. Through rehearsals, meetings, performances and breaks, the film offers an unprecedented immersion into the heart of his creative process to better understand this artist who never ceases to defy the laws of gravity and balance with poetry and delicacy.
