A film by Martine Thoquenne

Sylvie is thirty, and lives in Cambrai, northern France. Her outlook on the world is completely different from ours. Sylvie is mentally handicapped. And she is my sister. I see her before I see her handicap. That is the viewpoint of the film, which gives free rein to Sylvie´s personality & and not to her limits: her thoughts, her fears, her passions, her everyday life. It´s a labor of love, which was only made because Sylvie is my sister and I am a film-maker. This film is therefore a story with two voices: it is the relationship and contradictory emotions passing between two sisters, revealing Sophie´s world lovingly and poetically, and how this world influences my perception of life.
