In this tragicomic documentary about menopause, the director takes us on a journey to meet the people who have dared to publicly break the great taboo of this hormonal revolution, as well as her own ‘‘female tribe’’ who lived it in silence. Each in their own words, they open up about joys and sorrows of this stage of life: the shock, the lack of understanding, the taboo, and then, after all, the liberation?

In an offbeat and witty tone, the director reflects on this forthcoming moment in her life that she hasn’t heard much about.
