Les gangsters et la république

For the first time, The Underworld, the Police and the French Republic gives criminal leaders a platform, enabling them to evoke the dangerous liaisons that the underworld has constantly maintained with political leaders from 1945 until today. From the French Gestapo (la Carlingue) and the lawless influences that haunt the Republic today, via the Gaullist militia (the SAC: Service d’Action Civique) and Parisian gambling circles, this 3 x 52-minute mini-series presents an insightful analysis of how the lawful State administration works hand in-glove with those who aunt and abuse its own laws.
