Protestants have the reputation of being republicans, liberals, to stand by the poor but also of being austere and reserved... but who are they really? For the rst time, we will open a page of dark and largely unknown history. The story of Protestantism as we tell it is a paradox, how has been able to in uence society at crucial times while remaining such a minor movement? If there are so few Protestants nowadays, it is because they have been persecuted and massacred relentlessly until 19th century. Protestants are fascinating and upsetting : They are a minority whose culture, traditions and characteristics are unknown to most people.
