This film is an invitation to experience an exceptional encounter with the Dalai Lama, at his North Indian Dharamsala residence. The Nobel Peace Prize winner, and spiritual head of the Tibetan community in exile talks about his personal life.

The film is a blend of interviews with the Dalai Lama and archive footage. Visiting the past reveals the keys to the current situation in Tibet, crushed by the Chinese occupation and suffering both cultural genocide and demographic attack. The Dalai Lama tirelessly pursues his work of reconciliation with his "Chinese brothers and sisters". In doing so he stirs our conscience, inciting us to make the choice of peace and human rights, for a more brotherly, more responsible world.
