L’Envol is a non-profit organisation which offers young people in difficulty a chance for social reintegration by centring its educational project on artistic activities. This film invites us on an emotional, hopeful journey, during which we meet these young adults who have been hurt by violence within the family, who are victims of a shattered childhood, who have to hang on and not let themselves become isolated. During their childhood, they were humiliated, beaten, sometimes raped. Supervised by the association, each one will go back through his own story, express it, as if to exorcise it before coming to accept it. Mingling immersion with the fourth year group and encounters with previous program attendees, this film restores hope of redemption. The profiles, energy and charisma of the people we meet bring us the promise of a “feel-good movie”.
